“And what is that?”

Look Who's Walking!

The other afternoon we were all sitting around when PH just up and started walking! Now that I watch the videos I don't know who is more entertaining...PH...or everyone else watching him walk!

He even mastered the walk with a bottle!

And here is one just to let you all see how PH has been crawling! It's all been very entertaining!

Ken's Photoshoot!

The August issue of Esquire UK did a photo shoot for the breakout star of Toy Story, Ken Carson! I love it! Not only was it Ken's first photo shoot...that I know of...but he was decked out in 4 top designers!

...Burberry Prorsum!

Favorite Friday!

Family Reunions! This week was the B Family Reunion and it sure was fun! But I'll share more on that later!

Azzaro! I loved the Custom Azzaro gown Carey Mulligan wore at the Cannes Film Festival this year! The beading, the bow, her hair, the pockets...I love the whole look! It's just simply gorgeous!

Queen! Last week we went to Organ Stop Pizza for Grandpa's 78th birthday and the organist played Bohemian Rhapsody! Much to my surprise Mother had never heard it! WHAT!? Yep, it's true. I couldn't believe it, so in case their is another person out there who hasn't heard this classic! Here it is for your listening pleasure!

“As Harold took a bite of Bavarian sugar cookie, he finally felt as if everything was going to be ok. Sometimes, when we lose ourselves in fear and despair, in routine and constancy, in hopelessness and tragedy, we can thank God for Bavarian sugar cookies. And, fortunately, when there aren't any cookies, we can still find reassurance in a familiar hand on our skin, or a kind and loving gesture, or subtle encouragement, or a loving embrace, or an offer of comfort, not to mention hospital gurneys and nose plugs, an uneaten Danish, soft-spoken secrets, and Fender Stratocasters, and maybe the occasional piece of fiction. And we must remember that all these things, the nuances, the anomalies, the subtleties, which we assume only accessorize our days, are effective for a much larger and nobler cause. They are here to save our lives. I know the idea seems strange, but I also know that it just so happens to be true. And, so it was, a wristwatch saved Harold Crick.”—Kay Eiffel, Stranger Than Fiction

Favorite Fridays!

Mad Men! I freaking love this show! I love the look, the characters everything! I wish I had every dress Joan wears! And for the record Christina Hendricks is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood...well the whole cast is beautiful but Joan is my favorite!! But I liked her as Safron from Firefly! I love John Slattery as Roger, Jon Hamm as Don, January Jones as Betty, and Elizabeth Moss as Peggy! The one person who I have a hard time liking is Vincent Kartheiser as Pete because every time I see him I see Conner, Angel's whinny son! But the show on a whole is brilliant!

Star War Cookie Cutters! Aren't these Awesome! Who doesn't want to consume their needed energy in the form of Darth Vader and Yoda! These just make me want to throw a Star Wars party!

Jennifer Garner! She looked absolutely gorgeous this week wearing a pink Alberta Ferretti dress! I love the way it drapes on her waist, and I am still a fan of the...I forgot the word...one shoulder dresses. She completed her look with silver heels...that you can't see in this photo and a sliver clutch! Jennifer is beautiful no matter what she wears but here she looks absolutely...lovely!

Skyway Flyers! I listened to this this morning and laughed so hard I had to share it with you all! It's a parody of Katy Perry's California girls, and to be honest I like this version better! One of the best thing is the random life guard in the back ground, wondering what's going on!

Photobooth Pictures!

And last but not least...more pictures!

Here's Megs right before the big...unveiling of the party! She's always ready for a picture!

Here I am all ready to save some lives!

D really got into the party spirit! Isn't it lucky that I broke my leg all those years ago so he could have the perfect accessory...the big ugly boot!

Dr. C being all fierce!
N, K and Megs! We had masks for all the people who...forgot...to come dressed up...and didn't want to change into the scrubs we had!
Megs and all the little girls she watches!

J and Megs!...almost sisters! Notice the necklace Megs is wearing...from J!
It seems like a tradition has started to hold the birthday person up! Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries so this is the best pictures I got of all the boys holding the birthday girl!

The Proud Parents!

The group shot!

Last but not lest PB! He kept his wrapped bandage all night and was definitely the life of the party!

Meg's CNA Party!

You cannot have a more fun person at a party than Megs...and that goes double when it's her birthday!

Megs has known she was going to have a party for months. But she didn't know what kind of party it was going to be. This proved more difficult as we started to put things together while she was getting her hair done. She she was led through the house with her eyes closed until it was time and she found in her room her Pima Medical scrubs laid out for her ready for her party!

Here is everyone doing the experiments!
D's completed skeleton!

The Buzz Lightyear Operation group!
PH enjoyed the watermelon! And he kept his costume on all night...the band-aid!
Here is the classic Operation group! Hopefully O will have an announcement for us all soon!
Grandpa B, enjoying the party!

Here is Megs with her cake!

Meg's CNA Party...the set up!

For Meg's 20th birthday we had a little CNA party, not only to celebrate her birthday but to also because she's now a CNA! I had a blast!

It was a little difficult to plan...because we never really came up with a color scheme. Hospitals don't usually have a fun decor to plan a party around. So we made a paper chain to hang!
Then we made signs to label different rooms/areas that we would be using!

We placed flowers and little get well cards for every room! They were fun and signed by some of Meg's favorite movie boys...Zac (Efron), Link (Larkin), James (Bond), and Cowboy Gary!
The Kitchen table was transformed into the OR after dinner!

We played Operation in two teams...One had the Original Operation game, the other team played Buzz Lightyear Operation that Megan got...from me...for her birthday! On the table we had Boo-Boo-Band-Aids...fruit snacks...candy blood bags, and skeleton candies with interlocking bones!

We had a waiting room where we opened presents. Unfortunately, I forgot I was doing this and threw away all my magazines the week before, so all I had left was the Ensign!

Then we had the Lab! We did just two experiments, but they were fun! The first was with Milk, food color, and dish soap which makes swirly colors. The second when you put raisins in a glass of Sprite...the raisins will go up and down and up and down! Simple but fun! We also gave everyone a syringe pen and of course gloves for the experiments!

...and nurse/doctor ducks!

And of course the cafeteria!

We ate Jell-o, Nevitt Potatoes, Subs, chicken, fruit...

...artichoke dip, red velvet cup cakes with a red cross!

And an Awesome Brownie Cake!!

Adidas and Star Wars

Adidas and Star Wars have combined not only to bring us awesome clothing that I lust after...almost as much as Marc Ecko's Star Wars line...but now they are creating fantastic commercials as well! This apparently played sometime during the world cup but I never saw it! It stars David Beckham and Snoop Dogg...as well as Hans Solo and Obi Wan Kenobi! It's pretty amazing!! Enjoy!

“Blood control is just one form of conquest. I could summon the armada and take this world by force!”
“Well…you could do that. Yeah, you could do that. Of course you could! But why? Look at these people, these human beings. Consider their potential! From the day they arrive on the planet, blinking, step into the sun, there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than—no, hold on. Sorry, that’s The Lion King. But the point still stands: Leave them alone!”—Sycorax Leader & the Doctor, Doctor Who

Favorite Fridays

Toy Story 3! I don't know what it is but Pixar keeps producing films that make me cry like a baby and laugh till I hurt! TS3 is another classic! Plus it's always fun to see Buzz and Woody back on the big screen! FANTASTIC Flick!!!

Megs! Today is Meg's 20th birthday!! She's amazing and super fun...and random! The other day we were visiting teaching and the girl asked what the difference in our ages was. She almost fell out of her chair when I told her we are six years apart! Megs didn't like it when I pointed out that it meant she looked 25, which is practically 30! Good times! We got a little party planned for tonight and I Cannot Wait!!! Happy Birthday Megs!!

The Lady of Shalott! John William Watterhouse is one of my all time favorite artists, and his lady of Shalott is breathtaking! I have always loved this painting but when you see the original in person...is like seeing it for the very first time! The painting is based on Lord Alfred Tennyson's poem, the Lady of Shallot...it's also quoted in the movie Anne of Green Gables!

Bon Jovi! Now I'm sure I've shared my love for Bon Jovi on here before...but can you really ever get enough? Yeah, I think not. Plus, It's My Life has been stuck in my head since I took D to the Dentist earlier today! Seriously...it's like the best freaking song ever! So enjoy!
