"Getting through the mid stage of your life with your dignity and judgment in tact can be somewhat precarious and sometimes all you need is a bit of gentle reassurance to keep on track. I don’t know if this qualifies as gentle reassurance, but right now this is all that stands between me and a Harley Davidson. I owe a very great debt to my supernaturally talented fellow cast members, my exquisite no-nonsense Queen Helena, and my wayward royal older brother Guy. Geoffrey Rush and Tom Hooper, my two other sides of a surprisingly robust triangle of man-love, somehow moved forward in perfect formation for the last year and a half or so. Tom with his scorching intelligence and Geoffrey who has now become my true friend and geisha girl. David Seidler, I know some of what you went through in writing this. I know the value of longevity in my relationships, Harvey Weinstein has made an improbable number of good films. We have had 20 years together, which is not bad going for a showbiz marriage. Thank you, Harvey. But the very best thing of all has been Livia, and all the beautiful things she’s given me and I think I can cope with just about any age as long as I can still see her."--Colin Firth, 2011 GG Acceptance Speech

Golden Globes...The very best!

Now I loved a lot of gowns but honestly I cannot choose a best dressed. Mainly because I cannot choose between these three ladies! They looked stunning and seriously have given me a case of lustfulness that I have not had since...well at least last week!

Anne Hathaway...OMG...I almost screamed when I saw her in this Armani Prive gown! I have been dying to see someone wear this AMAZING dress since I spied it on style.com! I loved a lot of looks...but this is perfection!!

Angelina Jolie showed us all once again why Brad Pitt chose her! She looked absolutely amazing in this green Atelier Versace gown! She just oozed sex appeal...and she was completely covered!!

Leighton Meester's dress looks so...romantic! I love everything about her Burberry Prorsum gown! Everything about this look is perfect!

...Now after seeing all these dresses I must say that I now want...

1) a dress with long sleeves and maybe some strong shoulder action going on!
2) a green dress!
3) Olivia Wilde's shoes...though I have nothing to wear them with!
4) Colin Firth!

Golden Globes...Favorites!

To be honest I completely forgot the Golden Globes was last Sunday and didn't remember until Monday when I saw what everyone was wearing! And I must say that I cannot remember an awards show that I saw so many dresses I loved!...

Julie Bowen, of Modern Family, looked gorgeous in this grey Tadashi Shoji gown!

Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing in this Louis Vuitton flamenco dress! She looks like she is having so much fun...and let's be honest if I was wearing Louis Vuitton I don't think I'd stop smiling!

Emma Stone is almost unrecognizable with blonde hair but holy crap can she work a dress! I love her coral Calvin Klein gown!

Hailee Steinfield, of True Grit...which I haven't seen yet...looked like she was having the time of her life in this white Prabal Gurung gown! It might have been the dress and it might have been the fact that she presented with Justin Bieber!

Christina Hendricks looked beautiful in her red Romona Keveza one shoulder dress! But I do think that her hair is a little big considering the detail on the shoulder...it just kind of feels like they're competing against each other!

Claire Danes looked Simply stunning in her pink Calvin Klein gown. It's simple, clean and totally works for Claire!

Catherine Zeta-Jones just screams elegance! Everything about her plus her gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown prove she is Hollywood Royalty!

Megan Fox looked amazing in her pink Custom Armani Prive gown!

Helen Mirren always looks so elegant and tonight was no exception! She continued to make us all pray that we look that good when we are that old as she walked down the carpet in a lemon Badgley Mischka gown!

I loved Sandra Bullock's Jenny Packham pink gown! I love the crystal embellishments and I am still loving the one shoulder dresses! I even like her bangs...btw I totally cut mine this week!

Lea Michele's salmon Oscar de la Renta gown is beautiful! The color is perfect for her!

Amy Adams look beautiful in this teal Marchesa gown!

Olivia Wilde looked beautiful in her brown/gold Marchesa gown but more importantly she had the best shoes of the night! Seriously look at those gold Christian Louboutin Bridget's Back ankle boots! GORGEOUS!

Woop Woop!

I finally put all that Christmas money to use and bought myself Brand Spaken new Blue Scriptures!!! I'm so excited! I don't know what it is about studying out of virgin scriptures but I cannot even sleep right now!

(The after shot)

I wasn't sure where to start so I read the lesson I taught on Sunday! I mean it was Zacharias, Elizabeth, Mary, and Joseph...Luke 1 and Matthew 1...you cannot ask for a better way to start off the year studying the New Testament! I have the coolest calling ever...Gospel Doctrine Teacher!! Even when people try to contradict me! For those of you who didn't read it last week...do it! And to any of those who happen to actually go to my class feel free to commit to reading the lessons...we're studying the NT this year!...before class so that we can have...I don't know...a discussion and actual learning! And if there is anyone else out there reading this, feel free to read it too!

...random exciting things to look for...We're told that Jesus would have been the Literal King of the Jews, if Israel was a free nation at the time of his birth!...The Angel Gabriel appears to everyone!...Zacharias is struck dumb for doubting that God can make miracles happen!...Elizabeth is freaking old but still gets prego...MARY and the way she totally handles herself with the angel...Joseph being a stud!...John testifying that Jesus is the Christ before he was even born!...The whole naming of John....you really just need to read it!

...I know I'm a total nerd, but new scriptures are so exciting!!!....wow, I really need to get out more!

Passing the gavel!

Yesterday morning I walked into Lo's house and her parents are laughing in their room. They came out and had to show me something...

...needless to say, I was soon joining with them in watching this over and over!

It is definitely a tender mercy working for the people that I work for! There are mornings when R or B will come out and be upset about something on the news...and all I can say is thank goodness I agree! I don't know what I would do if I had to listen to socialistic liberal crap that early in the morning! No instead we watch youtube videos of Pelosi being hit with a hammer!! I really like my job!

Holy Moly it's a New Year!

I cannot believe I haven't update this thing since...well it's been a long time! I apologize, finals kicked my trash! But Now I am recovered and ready to enlighten your lives once again with the most random nonsense ever!

For our last of adventure before the girls went back to school we went and saw...Tangled! Verdict: AWESOME!! I loved it..."I have magic hair that glows when I sing!!" I don't know who I love more, Flynn Rider or Chuck Bartowski! You must go see it!

Megs put our hair in BOWS for the occasion! It might be my new favorite hair style! So I've given you a front and back view our beautiful hair! They are really fun and I highly recommend both the movie and trying out a hair bow for your self!
