Fiesta!

Papa turned 56 this year so we had a little fiesta!

It was really fun--a big thanks to Aunt J for her cans!--She's the only one seems to have taken my plea seriously! Not even my mother remembered to save her cans!

I made these little pinata things on the silhouette--mainly because they looked awesome!

A few months ago at Party City they had a Cars desert banner on sale for $0.50--I had to get it!

I made a little banner on the Silhouette!

I didn't take many pictures of the food--but it was good! I did take a picture of the elote! If you've never had it before you should try it!

Afterwards we played pin the tail on the Donkey--also made with Silhouette! It was quite the party!

Happiness is the Little Things...

#146. The smell of fresh baked cookies!

Pottermore!

For all those who didn't stay up all night because they wanted to know exactly what Rowling was going to announce...here it is!

I'm so excited! What is it going to be...

…something unique: an online reading experience unlike any other. It’s called “Pottermore.” It’s the same story, with a few crucial additions. The most important one is you. Just as the experience of reading requires that the imaginations of the author and reader work together to create the story, so Pottermore will be built in part by you, the reader. The digital generation will be able to enjoy a safe, online reading experience built around the Harry Potter books.

...oh don't you just love her! I cannot wait till October, 31 July and of course I'll be watching for the owl!

Baby Showers!

We've thrown a couple of Baby Showers this last month!

The first one was for AN!

It was a "What are Little Boys Made of...Puppy Dog Tails" Party!

Mother made all the cookies!

It all turned out really cute!

We had it at a LDS church building in Mesa...so it was a little difficult to set up!

There were a LOT of white walls! But I think it turned out pretty cute!

The other shower was for Kari!

...it was a cowboy one!

It was pretty fun! I'm not sure why this table cloth looks neon red because it wasn't!

Over all it was really fun...but I think mother is still a little worn out!

Favorite Fridays!

Lemon Stick Wedges from Anthropologie. One of my New Years resolutions was to buy a pair of yellow shoes. I'm thinking that I've found them. I mean honestly aren't these freaking adorable!

Pottermore! I've had the count down up on my computer and cannot wait! This is way more exciting then the wait for Deathly Hallows 2! I know it's not another book--which would have been awesome--but I'm a loyal J.K. Rowling fan so I am waiting for whatever this might be with as much excitement as I would my own Hogwarts letter!
