Happiness is the Little Things...

72.  Dimples!

Book Fairy.

Well I have a paper due at midnight--which is totally lame!  What sane college professor makes a paper due on Halloween! And it really doesn't matter how much time we've had to write it--IT'S HALLOWEEN!  This year I went as a book fairy! I thought it turned out pretty awesome!  I did not have a want, but I did have a lightsaber, which is honestly the preferred weapon of fairies everywhere! Also you might notice my hair is green--that is because PB's favorite color is green, so for our pre-Halloween party we all added a little green to our hair!

81.  Hand written letters.

Donuts.

"I'm getting donuts for later. As soon as I do, I will take you to school and the nice men in white coats will pick you up."-Lorelai

A donut tree is a perfect treat for any party--Not that I've had one, but I really want want to make one. The only problem would be not eating all the donuts before the party started!

Happiness is the Little Things...

93.  Secret smiles!

Tapas.

How cute are these? Mel and I are thinking about throwing a little Halloween party and these would be perfect!  Though I don't think PB and PH would care about their cuteness!

Happiness is the Little Things...

285.  Accomplishing something before the microwave beeps!

Witches.

"I'm not a witch; I'm your wife"--Princess Bride

Have you ever heard of a Witches Tea Party?

Because I want to start having an annual Witches Tea Party! Not this year because I have three papers to write this week--But wouldn't this hat be perfect!

Note: the most important requirement in a Witches Tea Party is that you have to--as the name implies--come as a Witch.

Happiness is the Little Things...

184.  The smell of a new book!

Spiders.

Why is it when you run into a spider web, you suddenly turn into a ninja?

What little person wouldn't want to eat dinner on a spider plate? Plus who would have thought about making rice crispie treats look like caramel apples.

Happiness is the Little Things...

122.  Road trips!

Fangers.

"The blood is the life"-Bram Stoker, Dracula

I love this idea! Everyone has vampire teeth at their Halloween parties--why not do something useful with them!

Let's be honest, Halloween is the coolest holiday EVER!

And paper chains--PROOF that they still totally rock!

Happiness is the Little Things...

210. Dresses with pockets!

Beware!

"Humans like to be told ghost stories"--Paul Cook

How easy is this?! I'm a huge fan of Halloween lights, in general, but these are really cute--and cheap!

103. Sleeping on clean sheets!

Weddings!

This is Real Life!

My beautiful cousin Kiara married her prince charming yesterday in the Mesa, AZ Temple!  She looked so pretty! I've only met Sam once but he seems like a really nice guy! They were such a cute couple!
Congratulations Kiara and Sam--and good luck in all that is to come!

Breakfast Cake!

I'm not sure if you've realized this or not but birthdays are kind of a big deal--at least to me!

Birthdays should last all day long! Now that might sound a little obvious, but what I mean is that the birthday celebrations should begin from the moment one wakes up till you lay your well partied head back down on your pillow that night--or well into the next morning!  In my family, we always let the birthday person choose what they want to eat for their birthday breakfast!  I've always enjoyed this tradition--but never understood why that meant we had to wake them up at the crack of dawn to eat it as a family!  For those of you who know me, know that I am not a morning person--AT ALL!  The fact that I'm up all night and I sleep past eight is something that will always trouble my Papa.  Despite having just recently celebrated my 27th birthday, I have officially decided on my next birthday breakfast!  This Dusky Caramel and Raspberry Crepe Cake!  In fact I might have to celebrate my unbirthday early this year, just to indulge in this scrumptious looking breakfast desert!

Cats.

In all the 27 years I've been alive, we've NEVER had an animal that was allowed in the house...except for when we had fish.

And now we have this pathetic--pathetically cute--little kitten running around our house!  The girls found a baby kitten in the back of the house a couple of weeks ago, and it's mom is...well, we really don't know who it's mother is.  But my Mother has adopted it.  She bottle feeds it, plays with it, it sleeps on her...it's her new best friend!  She's named it Bootsie--which I refuse to call it! I find it degrading to give animal little cutesy names--to the animal and more importantly to me...and I name all my electronic devices!--I call it Cat, or when Pb and Ph are here Kitty Cat.

Do you give your pets cutesy names?

Senior?

You know when you get to that point when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and instead of pulling a Nicole and sprinting towards the end...you just want to lay down on the curb and take a nap.

Yeah, that's how I feel!

Seriously, it's pretty bad!  And yet...I just cannot seem to take these last four classes seriously!  First off, I cannot graduate Magna Cum Laude because I don't have enough actual hours at ASU--which is ridiculous!  That being said, my desire to get those A's...yeah, not so important to me any more.  That's probably terrible to admit, but it's true--at the same time this is coming from a person who has decide what grade she was going to get the first day of class since she started college.  Yeah I'll admit it, I'm a really good student who is usually pretty dang happy with that B.  I did pretty good though at ASU, pulling all A's except for two classes--and one of those was an online Spanish 202 five week class, which is the most ridiculous class ever--If you don't speak the language never take this...unless you're going to do all the homework...then you're probably ok.  Anyways I've written three semi intense papers in the last week--which means I've gone literally days without sleep.  But I guess that's what I get for becoming an English Lit major!
